Stay & Play

We’re passionate about getting children outside where they can explore freely, connect with nature, and build resilience!

We offer a relaxed, child-led outdoor experience for children up to 5 years old in our Early Years sessions and up to 11 years old in our Home Education sessions.

Children will be able to interact with our friendly chickens and lambs, play and learn in the outdoors, develop a deeper appreciation of animals and the environment, whilst building immunity that is missing in sterile indoor environments.

A cosy fire pit provides a place to gather, warm up, and have a warm drink and snacks.  For adults, it’s an opportunity to slow down, breathe in the fresh air and connect with others, as well as enjoying quality time with their child in a calm environment.

Location

We’re located in Speen, Buckinghamshire – a 10 minute drive from High Wycombe.

Nestled in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, our smallholding has a mix of grazing, growing spaces and woodland that provide opportunity to step away from the bustle of daily life.

Our private, ancient beech woodland offers a peaceful, secluded setting . With a mix of mature trees, dense undergrowth, and natural clearings, the area provides both shelter and open space for hands-on learning. Rich in native wildlife, it’s a perfect environment to reconnect with nature and immerse in the rhythms of the wild.
