Freshly baked sourdough bread

Sourdough is naturally leavened bread – without using commercial yeast or additives.  It’s been made for thousands of years and is about as natural as you can get. We make it in the traditional way with a sourdough ‘starter’ – a mixture of organic rye flour and water that is allowed to ferment using yeasts naturally present in the air around us.

Our standard sourdough is made from just three ingredients: Doves Farm organic flour, water, and Himalayan pink salt.  For our fruit, nut and seed recipes we use 100% certified organic ingredients.

We’re a very small producer – baking once or twice a week – and we sell our sourdough on a subscription basis.  If you’re interested in starting a subscription , please get in touch.
